This weekend our cross country team raced in the final meet of the year and the soggy and exposed course around Northam Burrows.

Two words sum them up.  Resilient Heroes.  The boys ran in freezing hail and wind barely keeping their shoes on in the mud and through the trenches.  The girls were slightly luckier as the sun peeked out for a brief moment during their race.

Cross country running is tough at the best of times but this weekend, the six runners had to dig deep and find all their reserves of confidence, adventure, community and ambition!

Thanks also to the parents who supported in horrific conditions, and Ben Cox for rallying the team!  No pics of the boys – it was really too cold and wet!
