Year 6s final term at Georgeham School

2022-08-18T13:26:52+01:00

How did we get to their final term here? It's been a busy week of finding photos of the Year 6s when they were tiny for their leavers photobook, which wouldn't be complete without one last group photo on the climber!

Scientists in action (Class 4)

2022-04-26T15:10:26+01:00

Atlantic garbage patch problem? Class 4 enjoyed making edible water bottles in science yesterday; experimenting with the chemical reaction time and additive to make the new product stronger and tastier!   Huge 🌍 Horizons. We even persuaded Mr Thomas to eat (no, drink, urm no, eat) one. 😋 yum

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your messages, cards and words of thanks and good luck. I have been at Georgeham for 14 years and I have loved teaching so many children during this time, many who I still see in the village. I do plan to come into school on a regular basis [...]

Infant Music Festival

2022-08-18T13:26:52+01:00

After a slight hiccup, Class 2 arrived at the Infant Music Festival in Braunton. We were first up with our song "Number Bus" in front of hundreds of people! The children were amazing and sang so loudly despite being the smallest school there. Our two soloists did a fantastic job in front of everyone! It was lovely listening to the [...]

The Great Class 3 Bake Off!

2022-04-06T21:54:19+01:00

Class 3 had a great day baking our Egyptian flat breads today. The children came up with some really imaginative flavour combinations - some were very hot and spicy - and our celebrity judge, Keri, said it was the best set of flatbreads she had seen in her 8 years as resident chef - praise indeed! It was a tense [...]

Class 3 go to Exeter Museum!!

2022-04-06T21:29:19+01:00

Class 3 had a great day at Exeter Museum before half term learning all about Ancient Egypt! We caught the train there - which was a first for quite a few of us - and had great fun drawing, playing and watching the views slide past. At the award winning RAMM museum, their amazing team took us through 4 workshops [...]
