Some more dancing practice!

Miss Hill videoed some more this afternoon and Miss Butters put them through their paces with the dancing (I think she sang along a little too!) Here they are so you can either dance along and have fun with us (we've heard you enjoy it) or practice in preparation for your role on stage in a couple of weeks! Have [...]

This week’s Star!

We said goodbye to Darren in the kitchen today. The children are sad to see him go as he has always been so kind and helpful. The staff are sad that he is leaving too as he always has a smile and a cheerful word. We wish him lots of luck in his new job and hope that he will [...]

Anyone for a Dance?

Class 4, and I think Class 3 too, will find these two videos useful for their upcoming play in December... Tess, I think playing these should be fine for your PC - they're on YouTube (unlisted and 'ungoogleable' too) and should be much quicker than what we uploaded earlier in the week. Happy practising!

It’s all about the taxes…

Thanks Mrs Patterson - changed words to Jessie's J's song for Class 4's play. Here's Class 4 singing the changed words.  It's their first time, first run through, singing it from the sheets put in front of them right at the end of a busy day! I think you may have to turn it up (or use headphones) ... but [...]

Tag Rugby!

Well done to everyone who took part today. The improvements we made over the course of the four games was excellent. We didn't win but we had fun!!

Everything is awesome!

Here is a video demo of our Everything is Awesome dance routine (choreographed by Miss Butters!) for classes 3 and 4  (and any keen mums and dads) to practise at home. Link to our You Tube blog where we've now got TWO videos! The challenge is to be perfect by Tuesday so Miss Butters can show us the next routine!   [...]

Class 4-Children in Need

In class 4 we have been thinking lots about Children in Need today. We thought about what Children in Need actually is and we came up with these thoughts: James: It is a great charity and we get dressed up in spots or fancy dress to help children who don’t have stuff like we do. Beau: Our money will help [...]

Super Heroes and spots all over!

We had a fun day at school today with lots of fabulous super-hero costumes and spotty children everywhere! So far we have counted in excess of £110 in our collection bucket for Children in Need Day. Well done to everyone who took part!

I'm delighted to announce that we have been selected as a ‘Solar School’ for 2014-2015. Solar Schools is an initiative run by the environmental charity 10:10 who will be supporting us with our fundraising efforts over the year to install ground mounted solar panels at school. We get the financial benefits of having solar panels providing free electricity during the [...]

Remembrance Sunday…

Thanks to the children and families who came to the service earlier today. The poppies lining the pathway had several lovely comments made of them. Well done to Mrs Rinvolucri for the design and hard work getting them made around school. The clock was re-dedicated at 11am with an eerie sound of thunder bellowing in the distance whilst we were [...]
