Wistlandpound Reservoir

Classes 1 and 2 had a lovely walk around Wistlandpound Reservoir, spotting all sorts of things. Thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to help us. It turned out to be a beautiful (but chilly) day.........what a great place to live!

Trip to Combe Martin Wildlife Park

Class 3 had a lovely day exploring Combe Martin Wildlife Park. The park's vast grounds gave them the closest thing to a rainforest experience that North Devon could offer, with the tropical house giving them an idea of the humid climate. In literacy, class 3 are basing  their writing on The Great Kapok Tree by Lynne Cherry. Here are some images of them retelling the story using dance and drama.

Terrific Tennis at Tarka!

​Classes 1 & 2 enjoyed an energetic morning at the Tarka Tennis Centre. There were lots of ball-themed stations, but also balancing, jumping, hula-hooping and throwing. We spotted many future Andy Murrays! ​ ​ ​

Over Easter…

Some small changes over the Easter that you may see at some point... but if you don't - here they are! Class 1 has a new storage shed... The Wendy House is stocked and ready for action... (need some lino - anyone got any?!) Class 1's new sheltered Working Den... Class 2's outside working area has a wall for shelter [...]


Here is a belated photo of the netball team! Well done everyone, it was a very good day. ...........and just a reminder that Netball Club will continue up until half term. Thank you Gemma and Emma for taking it on!
