Class 3 had a great day out at Exeter Museum today for our Ancient Egypt topic. We learned about the mummy they have at the museum, Shep en-mut, who experts believe used to milk cows, found out how to mummify, were taught how to play sennet and handled real and replica Ancient Egyptian artefacts. The train journey was also great fun…

Well done class 3 for really making us very proud of your behaviour and learning. Thanks to the amazing staff and volunteers at the museum for such interesting and informative workshops, to everyone for getting the children to and from the station and to our parent volunteers without whom we wouldn’t be able to put on trips like this, your time is really appreciated.
