Releasing the butterflies!

This afternoon we released our butterflies! We were getting worried that they would still be in their chrysalides when we finished for half term...but yesterday they started to emerge and by this afternoon all four butterflies were ready to flap their wings! We've really enjoyed our butterfly topic...learning two stories; 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and 'The Cautious Caterpillar'. We've used [...]

Class 4 Volleyball Tournament

Our Class 4 children had a fab time on Croyde Beach today, competing with other local schools in a Volleyball tournament. We missed out on the final by just 1 point, but we played amazingly well and are really proud!

Parish Picnic…

London last day…

3rd train of four, today. We're supposed to be on the 'quiet carriage' but it's not working as it should. We're also, supposedly (you'd have thought), got tired children but that also isn't quite working as it should. 😆 Here's some photos of a few things from today... "Ooh look everyone! The white, chalk horse over there to your left!"

Junk needed!

We're after lots of your recycling over the next week for junk modelling in class 1. If you have any lying around, please send it our way. :-) Thank you

London… day 3

Science Museum's Wonderlab, a 'show' in the Natural History Museum, a look at lots of vehicles in the Transport Museum and a lot of stress about where to spend pocket money - which of the three gift shops to use??!! (And awkwardly, you can't go back to the first!!) Currently waiting for The Lion King to start!
