Salt dough fossils!

2021-11-12T16:11:06+00:00

We've been busy making our own dinosaur fossils! We followed the instructions carefully; we mixed the flour and salt together in a big bowl. Next, we added water and got stuck in! We rolled the dough into a ball and then flattened it like a pancake. Next, we chose one of our dinosaur skeleton toys and imprinted it onto the [...]

Open the Book has started back!

2021-11-09T17:11:11+00:00

After a very long gap (Covid-19 again!) it was lovely to welcome back our Open The Book team to school. 'Open The Book' is a charity that started 20+ years ago as a group of volunteers coming in to schools reading and acting out bible stories to the children. We're extremely fortunate with our group.  They've been coming here for almost [...]

Please do have a look at the leaflets that came home, or this link here… Some of you grabbed an MDF nativity character this morning from Rev. Mike.  These will [...]

This 1/2 term's school value is that We Are Curious. "Live life in all its fullness" John 10:10 We gather together as a whole school, three times a week, in our school assemblies.  This is something you'll remember from your own school experience, although we really try to not make them boring stories from the Headteacher!  (No comment about the [...]
