2018-07-19T15:29:18+01:00

Year 6 were all just a little absolutely-crazily-dead-keen to have their water fight, this morning. "Sorry Ms Dando, we don't want a story, we want to get outside and get Mr. Thomas!" Sadly, I couldn't partake today (so they thought) and they were really good at keeping to the rule of a dry playground, and a dry Mr. T, for [...]

https://photos.app.goo.gl/AK2SH2nMjYrXekaH6 An understandably brief blog - four days in London and an Aquathlon to finish the week; I feel as tired as the year 6's today, and I didn't swim & run! We had the pleasure of taking this amazing group of children to London this week. A train all the way, and they explored Lee Valley and Waltham Abbey... [...]

Good bye and good luck to a very special year 6….

2017-07-23T22:06:04+01:00

There were a few tissues needed for our year 6 leavers' assembly on Friday, but plenty of smiles and laughs too. It was great to listen to their memories, and look back with pride at what they have all achieved during their time here at Georgeham - they have been a fabulous cohort and we are sad to see them [...]

2017-07-07T14:08:55+01:00

A big well done to our Year 6 (and 6 yr 3,4 & 5 boys) who had a great day at the cricket tournament yesterday... The two teams did really well, with some great batting and bowling techniques, and it was noticable how much everyone improved over the course of the day. The year 3s and 4s should [...]

Ranger Rose visits Class 4

2017-06-30T19:26:15+01:00

Class 4 were lucky to have 'Ranger Rose' come in this afternoon to share her knowledge about the local habitat. Although the workshop was based around habitats, the interests of the children diverted the discussion to focus on hedgehogs and badgers in particular...always great when the children are passionate about a topic and ask question after question. 😀 [...]
