Class One are bucket fillers!

2017-10-16T16:52:37+01:00

Today we read the story 'Have you filled a bucket today?' It says that we all have imaginary buckets that are filled with people's kindness. Our buckets can be 'dipped into' when others don't treat us with kindness and respect. We had a lovely discussion about how we can be 'bucket fillers!' Evie said that being nice to someone and [...]

Bulbs, buzzers and motors

2022-08-18T13:27:17+01:00

So...does increasing the length of the wire make a bulb brighter or dimmer? What about adding more bulbs or adding a motor to the circuit? Does that alter the brightness? Another Stone in the Wall!

2022-08-18T13:27:17+01:00

Class 2 lived up to their long term reputation as the best stone wall builders the National Trust have ever seen. Apparently they are better than any of the older groups and adult groups combined, (small but mighty!) The children also spent time gathering natural artefacts and using them to create sculptures in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. A big [...]
