Over the last few weeks class 4 have been learning all about the heart in science.

We used a stethoscope to listen to our heartbeat and made our own using everyday items like tubing (we decided that a doctor needs a real stethoscope and not a piece of tubing ­čÖé )

After we learned the key information, the class had some independence to choose how they recorded their learning.

Here are some of the┬áthings they did….

Some children made a video to show the importance of a healthy heart…the tricky bit was that the video has to include the words de oxygenated, oxygenated, lung and veins!

We have two more videos that I will upload soon.

They made models, drew diagrams, created British Heart Foundation logos and even wrote poems!
