We have had a very exciting day today. The children came in to find out that the egg we have been looking after had hatched over the weekend. It turned out to be a dragon egg! When it hatched, Miss Smale managed to take a picture of it flying away. We can’t believe it! This inspired us to do lots of work about the dragon. Some of us made a home for the dragon to return to, some of us wrote messages to the dragon – ‘please come back!’ Some of us drew maps of where we think the dragon is heading.

Our homework for this week is to think about where the dragon has gone on his next adventure. We can’t wait to see what they all come up with!!
