Class 3 enjoyed a great WW2 workshop to finish off our topic this term. We reviewed the main events of the war, rationing, evacuation and WW2 weapons as well as learning some games children played (because most materials were being used for the war effort so toys weren’t really being produced) and handling some WW2 artefacts. We even had a piece of an amazing cake Keri baked us from a WW2 rationing recipe.

The children all looked fantastic so thanks to all the parents for the outfits and some really authentic WW2 packed lunches. A massive thanks also to frogs who helped fund the workshop and made it possible.
