It’s been a peculiar couple of weeks for Stepping Stones with lots of changes, however it definitely feels like things are starting to take shape. 🙂

Last week we started to talk about Spring and the children have absolutely loved group discussions about what happens during Springtime. We have had lots of stories to support the topic, have been practicing the ‘bunny hop’ song and dance and have even made our very own fluffy bunny faces. As well as this we’ve been practicing our patterns and cutting skills by decorating and cutting out giant eggs, have made our very own daffodil collages after Ned brought one in to share and some of the children have painted their own very beautiful meadows.

This week we have been spending a bit more time on counting and problem solving. Lauren did some work with the children counting sea creatures on the computer and we had lots of fun chalk drawing hopscotch and snakes and ladders out in the playground!

Next week we plan to do some Easter treasure hunts and would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday afternoon at 3pm to come and watch your little bunnies shake their tails and wiggle their noses! They have been going hopping mad for it!
