Class 2 learnt the difference between a habitat and a microhabitat today. We enjoyed using our new magnifying glasses to identify and respectfully study the invertebrate species that live within our field's microhabitats. Marbled butterfly, pine moth, garden spider, bloody-nosed beetle and even a dragonfly!
Here's some information about our Whole School Bike Ride on the 20th. We believe that riding a bike is an important life skill and this event is a fun way of promoting cycling to our children. A brilliant day at Ilfracombe Pool for the North Devon Aquathlon. 20 children from our two junior classes... and they were fantastic! Plus, Bea won her year group!
