I can’t recall if it’s the smallest postal service in the UK or the oldest, but the children learnt about Lundy’s one, and how the stamp doesn’t have the queen’s head on it and that it goes on the other side of the card; not that they knew which side it should go anyway! Oh, and you have to lick them?!

Some drawing, water colouring, lunch in the Tavern, some more letterboxing in castles, caves and coastguard rocket poles and then to the beach for more skimming.

The group have been lovely. It’s been a tiring few days but they’ve really pulled together and looked after each other – what a lovely little year 5 Community they’ve been. A delight!
