We are Kind

Do to others as you would have them do to you.”

Luke 6 v.31

We really need the attendance to be as best as it can be this year.  How important is it to be in school learning and socialising with others, especially after the 18 months we’ve had!  …But well done to Class 4 who have just pipped the others to have the best attendance so far this term!

C1… 94.5%        C2… 96.1%        C3… 96.7%        C4… 96.9%

We’re breaking up on Thursday next week and have made this decision to help our families with travel and holidays.  We’re also having a training day for staff on the first Monday back too, again to help families with possible holiday travel.  Please do make full use of the holiday periods for these, rather than take children out of school learning time.

When we return on Tuesday 2nd November, we’ll be in possession of several MDF nativity characters from St.George’s Church.  These will need to be painted and varnished in preparation for the Village Nativity on 28th November.  If you’d like to do one of these, please get in touch with Jo and pre-book your character! … Link to Crib on the Green from last year…

There are only two weeks after half term to get your Christmas Shoebox organised, so please do have a look at the leaflets that came home, or this link here…

We’re collecting the shoeboxes at school on Tuesday 9th November, so please bring them to school before then.

Volunteer readers come to our school through the week to help listen to the children read, and we’re incredibly fortunate and grateful to those who do.  If you have some spare time through the week, and even better if it’s more-or-less the same slot through the week, we’d LOVE IT if you could come and help.  Children need to read and be heard reading often and so we really appreciate the support our volunteers provide with this.  If you’ve spare time, do please get in touch with us.
