YESTERDAY EVENING
“I was the first one asleep!”
“I was asleep WAY before Miss Sobey checked on us!”

BREAKFAST
“We had pain au chocolat and croissants!”
“Oh, it was yummy.”
“What do you mean, what did you think about breakfast? …It was divine.  The chocolate melted in my mouth and the pastry went crunch, crunch, crunch.”

SCIENCE MUSEUM
Arthur was labelled our Crash Test Dummy yesterday since we always needed someone to go first, and so he kindly offered to go first in the Science Museum’s ‘child being blown up’ experiment too.  The Museum’s ‘Explainer’ chose Eva instead, and rather than blow her up, she was tasked with shining the sun at a generator to get a fan working.

We then had a really chilled out LUNCH STOP in South Kensington, on the grass under the magnificent museum buildings.

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, which was quite funny because we walked past the entrance and almost missed it!
Theo was in his element here and bounced pogo-style all the way through the exhibit.  He also gave everyone excellent and detailed explanations for most of the creatures & exhibits.
The Neolithic man exhibit was quite eye-raising and we’ve got some hilarious photos for our parents’ shared photo album! (We had some hilarious conversations too!)

The one-way system in the LONDON TRANSPORT MUSEUM meant we had to climb the stairs all the way to the very top.  Ooph, getting tiring now!  I think they enjoyed driving the London bus and Tube train the most… and getting ‘run over’ by then too!

Elfini choose Wagamama for our dining out experience, so we all tried to decipher what we liked and wanted to order. It was a tricky job, but possibly one of the best decisions ever!  The whole group absolutely loved it and it came in cheaper than Pizza Express too!

Back…
On the Tube, doo, doooo, doo, doo, doo, doo…
Go-ing fast, doo, doooo, doo, doo, doo, doo…
Cir- cle Line, doo, doooo, doo, doo, doo, doo…
Tow-er Hill, doo, doooo, doo, doo, doo, doo…
… And once again we put our fingers in our ears!

At the hostel, we’ve converted one of the big bedrooms into a cinema… Popcorn, sweets, biscuits and School Of Rock!

I’m finishing the blog with a cuppa in the kitchen below them and they’re unsurprisingly quiet after a long day in the big smoke.
