The first thing that needs to happen when you’re installing a playground, is to bring down the existing one!

To keep the cost down, I was in again on Saturday with Governor and Rector Mike Newbon, chainsaw-wielding Martin Larrington from St. George’s House and my eldest son, Morgan, for some muscles, lugging it all to the Nature Area to be reused in some way in our Forest Village.

Pentagon Play are starting on Tuesday morning, and they will be installing a full trim trail up the side of the field in the first week, and then the Crinkle Crags Climber to replace the Motivator, which is about twice the size (!), during their second week.  Just to note – barrier fencing will be erected around their work area and they will be separated from the school’s other zones.

Thanks again to our parents and FROGS, as this has been helped by their fundraising and your support.
