Started off writing our own aria with The Royal Shakespeare Opera Company... Danced a ceilidh (loads of fun but extremely hot!)... We sang Gospel, and then some Rock & Pop. A lovely, lovely day (a Bill Withers song) with some, now, very hot and tired children!

General all-round excitement as all of Class 2 spent the afternoon using our lovely new Chrome Books. Learning to log-on to both the Chrome Book and Purple Mash website; learning what all the keys do; navigating around the website and finally painting a picture on Purple Mash. In preparation for their work on conservation and dunes, and their trip on Monday, Class 4 made some dunes today! Embry, foredune, yellow and mature dunes all represented by Modroc models... they'll possibly add further features to these models after the trip. Look out for that blog after Monday's trip!
Class 2 have been busy planting up the school Veg Garden. They did a great job and we are all looking forward to watching the plants grow (Slugs permitting!) A big thank you for the seeds and plants that the children brought in and to Wyvale Garden Centre for the veg donations.
Class 2 were lucky enough to be invited to the opening ceremony of Croyde's new Playpark. They had a fantastic time and we were all so impressed with the beautifully designed and made equipment.
