It was another great coffee afternoon on Wednesday and class 4 had really worked hard to get all of their products ready in time - there were even a few early morning baking sessions! Well done to everyone as we raised our highest class 4 total yet - a massive £502!! The winning stall was Classy Crazy Cakes who raised [...]

Christmas Wreaths

What a lovely morning we have had making wreaths for the church. The children got to cover their wreaths with pine, teasels, holly and ivy. Thanks so much to Rob and Josh from the National Trust for organising such a fun Christmas activity :-)

It doesn't seem a year since we last did this! Great excitement as we created some more lovely wreaths for the Christmas church decorations. Class 3 science experiment…

Please let Sam know that we finally did 'that' experiment at home today! I only had basic instructions and I had confused reasoning why it will do what it does! "A bottle of fizzy liquid placed in the freezer for about 2 hours. (We left this smaller bottle for an hour and a half.) When you open it it freezes [...]

Crib on The Green…

It was a lovely Sunday morning, starting off in church and walking through the village to the small green to assemble the characters that we'd collected as we went. The school's song 'Midnight' was quite funny when we put the replies, shouts, farm animal sounds and actions to the words! (I wonder if anyone will put them in, in this [...]
