It’s been a busy week here in Class 4! We’ve come to the end of our assessment week, but for the year 6 children, this also meant SATs week. We told them to “reach for the stars” (only just refraining from bursting into S Club 7) and oh my goodness, didn’t they just! They have truly worked their socks off and have done so amazingly well to be ‘secondary school ready’ after everything they’ve had to deal with over the last 12 months. They should be mega proud of themselves (I know that we all are).

The year 5s have also been working super hard on their own assessments and, despite being tired themselves, have been such a lovely support to their older friends. My favourite part of this week was when the year 5s burst back into the classroom after their final test, ran straight over to their year 6 buddies and told them how proud they were of them. Class 4, you are wonderful.

After all of this, we’ve had a couple of fun afternoons to chill out and enjoy our final weeks together. Yesterday, we went up to the Basketball courts and showed off our amazing skills. Today, we celebrated our hard work with a party!
