Bonjour!

We were treated to a wonderful French Meal today in honour of our visiting French family. Kerry in the kitchen served up a gorgeous French menu and Ms Trute worked her magic to turn our hall into a wonderful venue.

Augustin (11) on piano, Adele (9) on flute, Anatole (8) on accordion, Amory (7) on drums blew us all away with their stunning French concert. (Angeline is only 5 so was just waiting in the wings with her mother.)

In the afternoon we began making our river creature scuttlers in French and English. It was lovely seeing the children work together.

Stephanie (a French secondary teacher) described the school as like one big family  and she couldn’t believe how independent the children are. Augustin said it was the best school day ever and they all decided they wanted to move to Georgeham!

(I love the bad editing of the staffroom before hand… apologies!)
