Homeward bound…

Packed up and starting our journey home with some children 'tube-ready' and some not so. One final 'free time' on the green after a good diary writing session and we'll be off for Liverpool Street and Paddington. They're looking forward to Paper Chase, the Paddington Bear shop and Monsoon too!

Wednesday… so far…

Completely missed out on a photo of the London Transport Museum!... But then I had a coffee break whilst the 19 collected up stamps and had a good time. Lunch at The Actors Church in Covent Garden. Natural History Museum... And we are so shattered... And now waiting for the doughnut delivery courtesy of Miss Hill outside the Science Museum. [...]

London evening…

After dinner we went on the train into London. London Eye and the 4D cinema was a hit with brilliant views. I tweeted about the gerkin being called the pickle! James the friendly policeman showed us the unfriendly policeman's MP5 machine gun at 10 Downing Street. The PM was home but he had had a long day with the Chinese [...]

Walk to Waltham Abbey.

The milk shakes are on me! Lovely walk down the canal tow path, tried to look in at the International Kayak Centre but it was closed:-( however boy racers entertained a few of us... Funny... And we're all looking forward to rounders, football or mummy on the green before bed time... Which I'm sure won't be plain sailing!!
