2023-02-27T14:05:41+00:00

We had a wonderful time exploring the Eden Project before half term. We learned all about where the food in our lunch boxes comes from and where the ingredients are from. We hope this will spark questions around sustainibility and our ndividual carbon footprint. It was a fantatsic day, and a really fun trip. I was so impressed [...]

Basketball WINNERS!!

2023-01-26T20:46:48+00:00

I had the pleasure of arriving in the middle of the Finals at the BLCT (Braunton Learning Cooperative Trust) Basketball Tournament, to see our team of reds scoring yet another hoop and whooping for joy! Our team won the tournament with 5 straight wins, with the final game score being 4:0. To say they were excited is an understatement! We [...]

Welcome back!

2023-01-06T09:07:19+00:00

Apart from wet play interrupting our enjoyment outside, we all had a great day, learning lots. I thought I'd share a couple of photos - class 3 lying down and having a rest, and class 4 clearly having a lovely day tasting different breads. So, apart from those wet playtimes, what's not to love from school today? We are Confident.

Fun with forces: Class 4

2022-10-10T16:33:39+01:00

Today, we were investigating how pulleys can, in their simplest form, change the direction of a force and, in a more complex form, give a mechanical advantage. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough of a mechanical advantage to lift the teacher (or [...]

Class 4 have been learning about the human life cycle in science this half term and have been lucky enough to be able to incubate and now rear a beautiful chick called Nugget for comparison. Clearly, she’s already part of the family…
