Class 3 have just returned from an action packed overnight residential to St George’s House – far, far away in the little known village of Georgeham!

It’s been a great couple of days, with the children really making the most of the activities and opportunities they have had. From enjoying a perfect afternoon paddling in Ilfracombe harbour on Monday night, to the washing up and bed changing in the house, to the willingness of everyone in year 4 to have a go at the surfing and rafting at Putsborough today –  it’s been fantastic to see class 3 working together and having fun.

Thanks to all the excellent staff at St George’s (who the children have absolutely loved spending time with) and a big well done to all the children who have been so willing to challenge themselves (especially as it is, for some, the first time they have been away overnight!). And an early night for everyone!?
