On a Friday for the past couple of weeks we have been working with a book called The Train Ride. Today, the children tried to remember the story we had learned (using great actions) and make their own books...with a front cover. All of the writing was independent and we now have a class of fantastic authors 😀
I was lucky to be in class 2 this morning and see 'explorer' projects. We heard interesting facts about the Interational Space Station and also Australia. Both boys spoke very clearly and the children asked some fantastic questions 😀 Â
Class 3 & 4 have been dancing the past few weeks up at the village hall with local teacher, Rita Evans. The children have choreographed thier own short pieces based on their class topics; class 3's Egyptians and Class 4's Vikings. You may be able to see some Egyptian looking moves in the photos?!

We held a maths workshop today to present some important aspects of maths teaching and to share some strategies we use.
