Class 4 were looking very Greek yesterday when we all dressed up for a a history workshop day on Ancient Greece.

It was a great opportunity to find out more about our topic from Phillipa, an expert, and to handle some replica artefacts.

We made a range of objects from a pendent decorated with Athena’s owl to Greek vases. Everyone also made a mask which we used to for a performance of the myth of Odysseus and the Cyclops at the end of the day.T

A massive thanks to FROGS who funded the whole day, it was great to be able to bring such an ancient topic to life.

And another massive thanks to parents who all managed to pull together a costume at extremely late notice!
